The second day of the Automotive Industry Event of the Year rolled on, kicking off bright and early with the official “seatbelt unbuckling” ceremony that marks the opening of the NADA Show Expo at the newly expanded Moscone Center in San Francisco.
More than 22,000 people from all aspects of the automotive retail sector descended on San Francisco on Thursday as NADA Show 2019 and the concurrent American Truck Dealers (ATD) Show kicked off.
Research suggests that auto shows attract serious purchasers. According to Foresight Research, 54 percent said their purchase decisions were influenced by auto show attendance. That amounted to almost 1 million purchase decisions, or 7 percent of all U.S. retail sales.
While addressing the 2018 Auto Conference LA, in advance of the LA Auto Show, Arcangeli touted the all new Honda Passport which was unveiled at the auto show and discussed rapidly changing business conditions and offered some projections for the future of the industry.
AutoConference LA will be held at the InterContinental Los Angeles Downtown hotel, the tallest U.S. building west of Chicago. The half-day conference precedes press days at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
